Fly fishing overnight camping trips

Multi-day experiences that build trust, teamwork, and belonging through fly fishing and life outdoors

Our Fly Fishing Overnight Camping Trips allow participants to immerse themselves in nature over multiple days. Away from the distractions of daily life, camping together fosters a unique sense of trust, community, and open conversation. These trips are built on teamwork and shared responsibility—from setting up camp and preparing meals to handling daily chores, every participant plays a meaningful role.

While at camp, participants spend time on the water learning the mechanics of fly fishing firsthand—experiencing the focus of the cast and the joy of reeling in a fish. These excursions are entirely free, with all camping gear, fishing equipment and meals provided. They are held during the fishing season, typically May through October, depending on weather and conditions.

Safety, structure, and support are central to these experiences. Experienced fly fishermen attend as guides, and we work closely with partner organizations and individuals to ensure participants are well prepared for the trip.

The impact of this program was captured during our inaugural trip to the Deerfield River in July 2025, where 21 clients—most of whom were first-time fly fishers and complete strangers—spent the weekend fishing, wading, and working together along with our guides. After three days of shared effort and campfire meals, 28 friends headed home. The camaraderie found through teamwork and nature’s splendor reinforced a simple truth: we are stronger when we move forward together.

We are excited to offer three weekend camping trips in 2026, all on the Deerfield River.  Dates for these trips will be June 26-28; July 24-26; and August 21-23.  Interested?  Fill out the questionnaire below.
