Personal, heartfelt talks that share Adam’s Parachute’s story and offer hope through lived experience and resilience
Our Speaking Engagements share the heart and mission of Adam’s Parachute through personal narrative. Founder Jim Faust and his wife, Lisa, speak openly about their lived experiences with addiction and grief, and about their resilient son Adam, whose life and spirit inspire the organization. Their presentations offer an honest, compassionate perspective on the realities of recovery and hope.
These talks explore themes of grief, mindfulness, resilience, and the healing power of fly fishing and nature. Designed for recovery communities, conferences, community organizations, and fundraising events, the presentations invite reflection and remind audiences that healing is possible and that no one has to walk the journey alone.
Speaking engagements in 2025 included the Adam Faust Memorial Fund Event benefiting Behavioral Health and Recovery Services for Harrington Hospital; the keynote address at UMass International Overdose Awareness Day; as well as events hosted by the Charles River Recovery Center, the Sober Home in Webster, and the Central Massachusetts Family Recovery Council.
